How was the DataBase of prepster! developed
- Some History |
|
| |
We own a multimedia
DataBase of 5 Million documents, containing over 2 Million
solved exam problems with 250 Million graphics elements.
This DataBase was developed over the last 30 years, by our in-house
development team.
The material in the DataBase was used, tested and refined in over
60,000 hours of live teaching and tutoring problem-solving courses.
|
| |
We started teaching
live engineering problem-solving classes in the mid eighties, in
Orlando, Florida
This was before the internet.
We have trained thousands of engineers and students for the Eit and
Pe exams. |
| |
Our DataBase was
archived in storage rooms, filed in thousands of 4-inch, 3-ring
binders, all white, with the Ensys logo !
All our users were astounded by the magnitude of the DataBase.
To support, maintain and backup the Database, we deployed our own
inhouse print-shop containing around 30 high-speed, industrial-size
copiers and color laser printers.
Most engineering companies in the Orlando area have Pe's on staff
who are Ensys alumni.
They can attest to the size of our DataBase, names can be furnished
upon request. |

How
Do You Work In Prepster! |
|
| |
|
Step 1: Practice
Exam 01 |
work the
FIRST practice-exam
using only the allowed references
grade each course-module
make a weak-list: a list of course-module in which you score
< 65%
these are your weak areas that you need to correct |
| |
|
Step 2: Weak-List
01 |
work the
courses in your
FIRST weak-list
by first using the Quick-Review Sheets to learn the
algorithms
if you need more information, then supplement with the
Short-Tutorials
then take the chapter exams in each course-module
try to score > 65% on the chapter exams in each
course-module
if you score < 65% on the chapter exams, then you are still
weak, practice more problems in that chapter
until you can get > 65% on the chapter exams |
| |
|
Step 3: Practice
Exam 02 |
work the
SECOND practice-exam
using only the allowed references
make another weak-list: a list of course-module in which you
score < 65%
the list of weak course-modules should be smaller |
| |
|
Step 4: Weak-List
02 |
work the
courses in your SECOND weak-list
by first using the Quick_Review Sheets to learn the
algorithms
if you need more information, then supplement with the
Short-Tutorials
then take the chapter exams in each course-module
try to score > 65% on the chapter exams in each
course-module
if you score < 65% on the chapter exams, then you are still
weak, practice more problems in that chapter
until you can get > 65% on the chapter exams |
| |
| |
Step 5: Score
> 65%
|
work the THIRD practice-exam
using only the allowed references
as you work more practice exams, you should improve to
where you score > 65%
on all course-module of the practice exam
that means that you are ready for the real exam |
